About storay
storay is a free personal inventory and selling app. Catalogue what you own with photos, organise items into themed shelves, and share one link. Buyers browse your shelf on the web and message you directly on WhatsApp — storay never touches payment or delivery.
Why we built it
Marketplaces like Vinted, Depop, and Marktplaats bury your items under millions of competing listings and take a cut. We wanted something simpler: a personal shop at a permanent link, styled the way youwant it, with zero fees and zero algorithmic gatekeeping. That's storay.
Who makes it
storay is built and operated by two people in Amsterdam. We design, build, and support it ourselves. There is no growth team, no venture pressure, and no advertising. If you want to reach a human, email hello@storay.app.
How it works
Every user gets two public URLs: a profile at storay.app/@{username} listing all published shelves, and per-shelf links at storay.app/c/{username}/{shelf-slug}. Buyers can add items to a cart and propose prices before contacting you on WhatsApp. You agree on payment and delivery between yourselves.
What it costs
Nothing. No listing fees, no commission, no payment-processing cut. Every feature — Otto (an AI sales assistant), studio photo enhancement, analytics, price suggestions, and CSV export — is included for everyone, forever. Sellers keep 100% of what buyers pay.
